Altoona man charged for role in Hollidaysburg man's overdose death

Authorities say a Blair County man is facing charges following an investigation into the overdose death of a man last May.

Police say on May 19th, 31-year-old Adam Walter was found dead of a drug overdose at his home in Hollidaysburg Borough.

Police say 31-year-old Dalton Snyder, of Altoona, reportedly supplied Walter with the drugs, which contained fentanyl, before his death.

According to online court records, Snyder is charged with felony counts for drug delivery resulting in death, drug possession and criminal use of a communication facility.

He is being housed in the Blair County Prison on $150,000 bail.
